Chögyal Phakpa

O influente mestre Sakya Chögyal Pakpa Lodrö Gyaltsen (1235-1280), sobrinho de Sakya Paṇḍita. Além de ser o quinto líder da escola Sakya, ele foi o conselheiro espiritual do imperador mongol Kublai Khan, e desempenhou um papel político importante no Tibete. [TLWF 2011]

The influential Sakya master Chögyal Pakpa Lodrö Gyaltsen (1235–1280), who was Sakya Pandita’s nephew. As well as being the fifth leader of the Sakya school, he was the spiritual advisor of the Mongol emperor Kublai Khan, and played an important political role in Tibet. [TLWF 2011]
