Um dos quatro sistemas de princípios filosóficos budistas. Juntamente com a escola Vaibhāṣika, a escola Sautrāntika é considerada como pertencente ao Hinayana. Os sautrāntikas dividem-se em dois subgrupos: os sautrāntikas que seguem as escrituras (lung gi rjes 'brang) e os sautrāntikas que seguem o raciocínio (rigs kyi rjes 'brang). One of the four systems of Buddhist tenets. Together with the Vaibhashika school, the Sautrantika is considered as belonging to the Hinayana.
