Sponsor the works of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche in Portuguese
“If you can help one page or one chapter to be translated, it is such a great thing. From that moment you can read it, and not only you, as long as these medias are available, sentient beings are going to benefit, so this is so great. (…)
I have this tremendous opportunity to read so many of these [Dharma] texts — so many are available [to me] — that very often I take it for granted. But, sometimes, I’m aware that these are not available in so many languages… and it feels almost unbearable that so many people don’t have this opportunity. (…)
Just check the percentage of the Buddha’s teachings published compared to everything else that is published, then we see the support that these translations have is really really negligible.
Just even in our own library, how many books are there on the teachings? How many of them did we actually contribute to? (…) Whatever it is, it doesn’t matter, it is just that contributing, doing something towards that, is really helpful. And, if you can’t, as I said, just make a wish.”
Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche, October 202
Encouraged by Tulku Rinpoche, we launch our first crowdfunding for the printing of Dharma books.
We have just printed the Portuguese version of Living is Dying and reprinted What Makes You Not a Buddhist. If you'd like to help promote the Dharma, to make it available to more people or just would like to accumulate some merit, please considering sponsoring the publication of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche’s works in Portugal. Right now, we need to cover an approximate cost of 6500 € for the printing of both books.
Join in, in whatever way you can — any support, however small, will be used to print Dharma books, helping them reach more people.
Thank you so much for your support.
