A Grande Perfeição, ou Dzogchen, ou Atiyoga, o cume dos nove veículos. A perfeição significa que a mente, em sua natureza, contém naturalmente todas as qualidades dos três corpos: sua natureza é o vazio, o dharmakāya; sua expressão natural é a clareza, o samboghakāya, e sua compaixão é todo-abrangente, o nirmāṇakāya. "Grande" significa que esta perfeição é a condição natural de todas as coisas. Tradução alternativa: "grande completude". Un altro modo di chiamare l’atiyoga, il più elevato dei nove veicoli. ‘Perfezione’ perché la mente, lo spirito, possiede naturalmente tutte le qualità dei tre kāya: essenzialmente è vacuità (dharmakāya), luminosa chiarezza per natura (samboghakāya) e onnipervasiva compassione (nirmāṇakāya). ‘Grande’ perché tale perfezione è la condizione naturale di tutte le cose.
