Langdarma

Irmão do rei do Dharma Rei Tri Ralpachen. Quando este último foi assassinado pelos seus ministros bönpos no ano de 906 (ou 838*), Langdarma tornou-se rei. Ele perseguiu o budismo e quase conseguiu erradicá-lo do Tibete, especialmente na sua forma monástica. Após seis (ou quatro*) anos de governação, em 912 (ou 842*) foi assassinado pelo yogin budista, Lha Lung Pal kyi Dorje (lha lung dpal gyi rdo rje). [CMH 2001] [*datas alternativas segundo PDB]
